Steve Dismuke
God inspired Pastor Steve Dismuke to come to Stanford Baptist Church in 2022. Pastor Steve did not take this lightly; he wanted to be in God's will for his journey and the Church's.
Pastor Steve was born
close to Los Angeles, CA. He accepted Christ at age 7 while visiting his
grandparents in Carp, Indiana. He moved to Kentucky at the age of 7, where he
stayed until he graduated in 1990. He joined the Army in Feb of 1992 until he
retired as a First Sergeant after 24 years. During his time in the military, he
served in many different locations and received an award for having the
nation's #1 training site. While in the service, he preached to thousands of
soldiers and led many to Christ. Read More
Dalton Thompson
Pastor Dalton is our energetic, loud, passionate, and sometimes funny youth director. He is passionate about preaching the good news of Jesus in engaging and exciting ways. Dalton is from a small town called Burgin in Mercer County and has been a member of the SBC family for a little over two years. When Dalton is not coming up with a crazy game for our students to play on Wednesday nights, he is at his daytime job at Inter-County Energy as a first-class lineman, where he also takes great pride in his work. Dalton is married to our secretary, Britni, and they have two boys, Hunter and Hudson, who keep them busy and always on their toes. Also, as if he isn’t being pulled in 100 different ways, Dalton also plays bass on our worship team on Sunday mornings.

I spent many years playing secular music both with a band and as a solo performer. Needless to say, I played in some "questionable" establishments. One night about twelve years ago I found myself asking "what am I doing and why am I doing it"? It was then that I started playing Worship music. I played with Grace Fellowship Church from 2011 until 2018. 2018 through 2022 we worshipped at Carpenter's Christian Church in Harrodsburg where I was a member of their worship team. In January 2023, God called us to Stanford Baptist.
I am very humbled and proud to be part of such a great Church. One where everyone "Loves God and Loves People".
I am married to my best friend Tiffany. We are proud parents of a Firefighter, a Soldier and a Teacher. We also have five grandchildren.
