Life Groups play a vital role at Stanford Baptist Church by fostering deeper fellowship and support among our members. Just as the early church worshipped in both synagogues and homes, we gather in various settings to cultivate a closer relationship with God and one another. Through His grace, God has reconciled us not only to Himself but also to each other—this community we call His Church. We are committed to nurturing this sense of belonging through men’s and women’s groups, home gatherings, and other personal connections. Join us as we grow together in faith and friendship!

Is there a specific Life Group you'd like to see offered? Our Life Groups are constantly evolving and expanding based on the season and the interests of our members. If you have an idea for a new group, let us know! We’d love to help gather others who are interested and get it started.

  • Families in Faith- Life Group

    This Life Group is for parents raising school-aged children. In this group we discuss how to be a Christian parent in today's world, cross-talk between parents with real-world scenarios, and tips/ guidance to have a more peaceful and loving home. This group is designed for adults to come together to encourage one another through life's struggles.

  • Co-ed Life Group

    Our Co-Ed Life Group is open to everyone, no matter where you are in life. This group is a welcoming and inclusive space where people from all backgrounds can come together to grow in faith, build lasting relationships, and support one another. Whether you're single, married, a parent, or somewhere in between, you'll find community here as we explore the Bible, share experiences, and encourage each other in our walk with God. All are welcome to join!

  • Prayer Group

    Join us for our Wednesday Night Prayer Group, held from 6:00 PM to 6:25 PM before our evening service! This gathering offers adults a dedicated time to come together in fellowship and focus on prayer. We take this opportunity to share prayer requests, lift up those in need, and seek God's guidance and support for our church community and beyond. Whether you're a seasoned prayer warrior or new to prayer, this welcoming group is a place for everyone to grow in their faith and strengthen their connection with God and each other. Come be part of this meaningful time of prayer and encouragement as we prepare our hearts for worship!
